About this experience

Some people still think vegetarian cuisine is like "normal" cooking, minus the meat. But of course most traditional foods - especially from fertile regions like the Mediterranean - are plant-based. And thanks to the many regional cuisines within Italy, there's an endless variety of Italian vegetarian recipes to explore. That's what our Italian Vegetarian Cooking series is all about! 

During tonight's hands-on class we'll make some classic Spring dishes, with an emphasis on the freshest, most locally sourced ingredients available this time of year. And because it's Spring that means plenty of vibrant green veggie dishes! 

After we're done cooking together, you'll sit down at a long harvest table with fellow guests to enjoy the meal we've prepared together, served by our staff and chef. 

Focaccia primavera - Homemade focaccia with Swiss chard and tomato 

Risotto con asparagi - A deceptively simple Northern Italian classic: asparagus risotto

Secondo e contorni 
Zucchine ripiene - Stuffed zucchini with Parmigiano and breadcrumbs   
Scarolo al forno - Whole baked escarol stuffed with pine nuts, raisins, grated cheese and herbs 
Pinzimonio - Italian style crudité with fennel, carrots, endive, sea salt and extra virgin olive oil  

Panna cotta ciliegia - Cherry infused panna cotta 


A selection of wines, beers and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the event.  

We also offer corkage, the fee is $15 per bottle.
