Known as the “Barolo of the South,” Aglianico del Vulture is a lovely, versatile, every day wine produced on the volcanic slopes of the extinct volcano Vulture, in the Basilicata region.
Intense and fruity aromas of dark chocolate, cherries, jam and violets.
Full body, pronounced intensity and long, smooth finish. Medium tannins.

Pairing - Perfect for sipping on its own, Aglianico also pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, roasted lamb, stews, aged and spicy cheese like caciocavallo, pizza.
