Biferno is a tiny appellation in the centre-south of Italy, sandwiched between Abruzzo in the north and Campania in the south.This savory, racy red offers ripe cherry, plum and crushed herb tones wrapped in a thin coating of tannins. It's driven by bright acidity, ending lifted and fresh.
Pairing - Perfect with meat dishes, roasts and beef stews. Great matching with Italian traditional sausage and aged cheese such as Pecorino and Piave.
Grapes - 80% Montepulciano, 20% Aglianico Region – Molise
