About this experience

Treat your mom to this fun, laid back Mother's Day cooking experience and lunch event hosted by Cucinato's Gaia Massai and her daughter, Leah ... with a little help from chef Cosimo Ieraci :) 

Today we'll slow things down and spend some quality time making a classic nonna-style, Sunday pasta dish together - homemade ravioli! Stuffed with ricotta, peas, and mint, this Spring dish is always a crowd pleaser! 

Keeping things on the lighter side for the main course, we'll make a very simple, yet elegant Sicilian fish entree - seared tuna, paired with grilled asparagus and fennel-radicchio salad. And for dessert, we'll be making the famous ricciarelli, a specialty from Gaia's hometown of Prato, Tuscany. 

Once we're done preparing the dishes together, you, and your mom, and your fellow guests will be seated to enjoy the meal we've made together! 

 

MENU 

Mimosa - Welcome beverage of prosecco and orange juice on arrival (non-alcoholic alternatives available) 

Ravioli di ricotta, piselli e menta - Stuffed pasta with ricotta, peas and mint 

Tonno scottato - Sicilian-style seared tuna with sesame 

Asparagi al limone - Grilled asparagus with lemon vinaigrette

Insalata di finocchio - Fennel, radicchio, spring greens salad 

Ricciarelli - Traditional Tuscan almond-citrus cookies 

 

 

BEVERAGES 

A selection of wines, beers and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the event.  

We also offer corkage, the fee is $15 per bottle.

• Exchanges (one per ticket) permitted up to 5 days prior to the event.
• Tickets to Cucinato events are transferable - you can give them to someone else if you can’t attend (but please notify Cucinato in advance!)
