ABOUT PANETTONE

Panettone is the quintessential Italian Christmas dessert, a sweet bread originally from Milan. 

Making panettone is a long process, often up to three days, and requires a great deal of skill. This extended curing process, similar to sourdough, is what gives panettone its characteristic fluffy texture. Classic panettone contains candied fruit but this specialty one is made with limoncello. 

STORAGE AND SERVING 

Panettone is soft and delicate, and comes apart easily as you tear it with your hands - the traditional way to eat panettone! And to enjoy it best, we suggest you place it on the radiator or near the warm flames of a fireplace half hour before eating to "awaken" it's natural flavours and aromas. Cut with serrated knife.

PAIRING - Enjoy at the end of the meal with a glass of Spumante or Moscato d'Asti.
