Chianti Riserva Docg ages for at least 24 months in large oak barrels. The ageing elevates this ever popular quintessential Tuscan wine by adding complexity and softening tannins. Dark, expressive and beautifully layered with round tannins and matching acidity. Well balanced flavours of ripe black cherry, plum, new leather, licorice and wild herbs.

Pairing - Ideal with Pasta al Ragu', tomato based meat dishes such as Pollo alla Cacciatora, pizza and charcuterie and cheese antipasto spread.

Grapes - 90% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo
Region – Toscana.
