Small black and wrinkled, the black chickpea of Murgia is a traditional product of Puglia. A rare and precious product, it is very rich in iron and vitamins. Naturally savory, it lends itself to many recipes, from soups to fresh pasta.  In the Bari area, for example, it is traditional to accompany it with fish.
