About this experience

Cucinato partner Gaia Massai is very passionate about her region and is happy to share dishes and memories of her Tuscan countryside upbringing on her family farm.

During tonight's class she will be joined by Chef Cosimo Ieraci to teach you traditional winter dishes such as Home made Pici with black kale pesto, and Coniglio all'aretina, a roasted rabbit with herbs and gravy from the Arezzo countryside, perfect for this time of year!

The evening begins with a welcome snack, where you'll enjoy a light selection of typical antipasti and learn a little about Gaia's home region and the dishes we'll be prepare this evening. Then it's time to get cooking! After two hours you'll sit at a long harvest table and enjoy the meal you have prepared together with your classmates. Gaia will also lead a brief olive oil tasting (another major passion of hers) and hopefully the new olive oil harvest she imports from her friends in Tuscany will already be available for a special Olio Nuovo treat!

Antipasti 
Salvia e zucchini fritti - Fried zucchini and sage 
Crostini di polenta con funghi- Baked polenta bites with sauteed mushrooms

Primo 
Pici al pesto di cavolo nero- homemade traditional pasta with black kale pesto

Secondo e contorni 
Coniglio all'aretina- roasted rabbit with herbs and gravy
Fagioli all'uccelletta- cannellini bean stewed in tomato sauce
Patate alla ghiotta - Tuscan style roasted potatoes with rosemary and garlic

Dolce 
Cantuccini di Prato- Traditional almond biscotti from Gaia's hometown Prato

We also offer corkage, the fee is $15 per bottle.

• Tickets to Cucinato events are transferable - you can give them to someone else if you can’t attend (but please notify Cucinato in advance!)
