About this experience

Treat your mom to this fun, laid back Mother's Day cooking experience and lunch event hosted by Cucinato's Gaia Massai and her daughter, Leah ... with a little help from chef Daniela De Chiara :) 

Today we'll slow things down and spend some quality time making a spring inspired struffed pasta from scratch- homemade cappelletti! Stuffed with potato, pecorino and mint and served with edible flowers, this cute egg pasta dish is a worthwhile way to spend time with your Mom! 

Keeping things on the lighter side for the main course, we'll make a very simple, yet elegant Sicilian fish entree - seared tuna, paired with roasted rainbow carrots and a refreshing Sicilian fennel salad. And for dessert, we'll be making lemon ricotta cups with a light cookie crumble . Once we're done preparing the dishes together, you, your mom, and your fellow guests will be seated to enjoy the meal we've made together! 

MENU 

Mimosa - Welcome beverage of prosecco and orange juice on arrival (non-alcoholic alternatives available) 

Cappelletti Primavera con pecorino patate e menta - Stuffed pasta with pecorino, potatoes and mint with edible flowers

Tonno scottato - Sicilian-style seared tuna with sesame seeds

Carote arcobaleno- roasted rainbow carrots

Insalata Siciliana - Fennel, orange and black olives salad 

Bicchierini di Ricotta al Limone - Lemon ricotta cups with cookie crumble

Espresso

 

BEVERAGES 

A selection of wines, beers and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the event.  

We also offer corkage, the fee is $15 per bottle.

• Tickets to Cucinato events are transferable - you can give them to someone else if you can’t attend (but please notify Cucinato in advance!)
