Tastes of Venice Chef’s Table with Stefano Agostini | Sat Feb 11
4-Course Interactive Dinner EventCost:
$150.00 per ticketDuration:
3hAbout this experience
With Valentine’s just a few days away and Italian Carnevale season about to begin, it’s the perfect time to enjoy an authentic Venetian dinner, hosted by our good friend and Veneto-born Stefano Agostini.
Stefano comes from a long line fishmongers in Vicenza, a small city in the Northern region of Veneto, one hour west of Venice, and did his culinary training at the Pellegrino Artusi School in nearby Recoaro. His background and experience make him an expert at Northern Italian cuisine and a master fish and seafood chef.
Tonight’s 4-course menu features many classic Venetian dishes, from cicchetti (a type of tapas served in traditional bars around the city) to dolci di Carnevale (decadent desserts associated with the indulgent season of Carnevale). And of course some of the delicious seafood dishes from this ancient port city.
This event will be a seated dinner (not a cooking class!) but as always it will be relaxed, interactive and social. Stefano will talk to you about his background, demonstrate and explain how dishes are made, and answer any questions you have!
