About this experience

If you've ever been curious about the food and culture of the beautiful southern region of Puglia - or dreamed about visiting there some day - this is the class for you!

Puglia has a special place in chef Massimo Bruno's heart. It was the place he grew up; it was the inspiration for his famous Supper Club, one of the first in Toronto, dating back to 2005; and it's the place he returns most often on his popular culinary tours to Italy.

The dishes we'll be making during tonight's fun, hands-on class are some of his favourites from his hometown of Bitritto, a town just outside of Bari. The kind his mom would make him when he was a kid, and still does whenever he comes home to visit!

Your Host

Host image

A native of Puglia in Southern Italy, chef Massimo Bruno has been working as an even host, personal chef, and culinary tour guide since 2005. His regional Supper Club is a "must" experience on the Toronto scene and his always popular culinary tours have recently expanded beyond Puglia, to include Sicily and Sardegna.

Massimo's approach to Italian cooking is pretty much his outlook on life in general: keep it simple and authentic, never stop innovating, and always have fun!
