This year's edition of our traditional Easter Dinner gives you a variety of classic dishes from different regions of Italy to choose from.
Easter is one of the most important dates on the Italian calendar - celebrated (in normal times, at least!) with religious processions and services, and large family gatherings, all over the peninsula.
It's a holiday that symbolizes rebirth (the resurrection of Jesus for Christians, the return of Spring in Nature), and that's reflected in the ingredients used in the cooking: eggs signifying fertility; vibrant green vegetables from season's first harvest; and fresh ricotta, made from the sweet milk of sheep and cows feeding on Spring pastures.
This year's edition of our Italian Easter Dinner gives you a variety of classic dishes to choose from. We've tried to give you diversity of flavours and dietary options, while at the same time staying true to our roots. So regardless of your of your needs, and despite the crazy times we're living through, you can still enjoy a traditional Italian Easter meal in the comfort of your own home this year.
