Join us for the spring edition of our fun, informative, hands-on Homemade Pasta Class!
Tonight chef Bruno di Sarno will show you how to make two delicious varieties of homemade semolina pasta that are perfect for seasonal pasta dishes.
Bruno will teach you everything you need to know for making this simple, versatile type of pasta: how to make the dough, roll it out, and form it into popular shapes like cavatelli and strozzapreti. We'll also learn how to make two simple, delicious sauces that use local, seasonal veggies and pair perfectly with these pasta varieties!
Once we're done, you'll sit down to enjoy the meal we've prepared, and a few others we've prepared for you, all served by the Cucinato team.
Welcome snack on arrival: homemade focaccia
Strozzpreti agli asparagi – Hand-rolled rustic pasta with sauteed asparagus and (optional) pancetta
Cavatelli con pesto di cavolo nero – Shell-shaped pasta with Tuscan kale pesto and semi-dried cherry tomato
Insalata stagionale – Seasonal salad
Torta di ricotta – Lemon ricotta cake (gluten free)
A selection of wines, beers and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the event.
We also offer corkage, the fee is $15 per bottle.
