A full, balanced red, made in the Super Tuscan style, from Montecarlo, in the Tuscan province of Lucca.
Taste: Velvety, wide and dense at the beginning, with clear but rounded tannins; well balanced and persistent. Clear scent; intense dark fruit notes and flowers, cocoa, vanilla and spices give this wine its complexity.
Varieties: Sangiovese (aged in oak for 7 months); Canaiolo, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Alcohol 13,5 %vol.
Food pairing: Ideal as aperitif, with starters, fish and chicken
