  • Product Description
Baci di Dama (which means "lady's kisses") is a speciality from Piemonte: two delicate, dome-shaped biscuits with Nutella-ganache filling.

Baci di Dama originate in the small town Tortona, in the nineteenth century and were originally produced with Piedmontese hazelnuts, the basis of the world renowned Nutella we are using in our version this week. Legend has it that these cookies were born from the imagination of a chef of the House of Savoy in 1852 on the request of King Vittorio Emanuele II to taste a new dessert. The product met with such enthusiasm that it became quickly a favourite on the royal tables of Italy and Europe.
