Tuscan Olive Oil Harvest Dinner
January 25, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm$85
About this time of year we get our first batch of just-harvested olive oil from Gaia’s farm in San Miniato, an area of Tuscany about half way between Florence and Pisa. So if you want to taste what freshly pressed extra virgin olive oil really tastes like, now is the perfect time!
Tonight’s four-course meal features a selection of classic home-style Tuscan dishes that perfectly showcase the natural characteristics of the fresh oil. And of course if you want to take some home to enjoy with family and friends, it will be available for purchase.
Gaia will share some stories about harvest time on the farm, and also do brief olive oil tasting during dinner, to explain the fundamentals of extra virgin olive oil.
