It may be famous for its canals and palaces, but Venice is also home to some of Italy’s most delicious dishes!
Join chef Massimo Bruno for a fun, interactive evening where you’ll learn Venetian classics like Casunziei Ampezzani: a delicious handmade pasta stuffed with beet and ricotta, and lightly tossed in butter and poppy seed. We’ll also be making polenta with sausage, herbed shrimp, and a classic Italian dessert: zabaione!
At the end of the class we will sit down together to enjoy the food we’ve prepared,
NOTE ABOUT WINE – a selection of Italian wines will be available for purchase. If you would like to bring your own wine there is $15 corkage fee.
Potenta con salsiccia e funghi (polenta with sausage and porcini mushroom ragout)
Gamberi alle erbe (shrimp with fresh Italian herbs and white wine)
Casumzei ampezzani (stuffed handmade pasta with beet and ricotta with butter and poppy seed)
Arrosto d’anatra — Roast leg of duck
Zabaione — traditional Italian custard dessert made with eggs, sugar, and Marsala wine
